The Inside Edge Season 2 trailer is here and we can see that things are bigger and better here. The makers are building on from the success of its International Emmy nomination last year. Last year, the show revolved around a T20 cricket franchise named Mumbai Mavericks that is one of the key contenders in PowerPlay League. From the trailer it seems that this year we will be seeing two teams clashing with one another that is Mumbai Mavericks Vs Haryana Hurricane
There have been some interesting additions in the cast with Aamir Bashir, Sapna Pabbi, and Markand Deshpande joining the series regular Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadda, Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Amit Sial, and Sayani Gupta. Since Sanjay Suri’s character was killed off in the last season, he will not be seen in this one.
The executive producers of the show are Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani. The second season of Inside Edge is directed by Aakash Bhatia, Karan Anshuman, Gurmmeet Singh and it is created by Karan Anshuman. While the trailer has spiked the interest of the audiences especially the loyalists, what remains to be seen is that will the show be able to sustain the hype that it created with its first season.
