Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain season 3 is now available on Alt Balaji and Zee5. In this season we see things start from exactly where they left. Ananya (played by Mona Singh) leaves after she knows that Rohit (Ronit Roy) cheated on her with his ex-wife Poona (Gurdeep Punj). Rohit on his part is trying to explain his part of the story while Poonam is feeling guilty. Things forward to 4 years later where Kabir Rohit and Ananya sun is now three years old.
Ananya is not the ambla Nari who wasted time on shedding tears on her broken love story but has used all energies in her work. While that may be a great way but that also means that she has not dealt with the issue on the emotional level. Poonam is now happily married to Abhimanyu, who is 10 years younger to her. That leaves Rohit as the wanderer, heartbroken Casanova biker, who is on the streets with no money.
What we loved bout Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai is that from the first season it managed to do justice to all the characters. Even when Mona is playing the “other” woman in a relationship, the makers made sure that she does not come across as culprit, home wreaker. Writing has been the forte for the series and Jaya Mishra makes sure that it remains the same this season too.
We see all three characters have evolved in the last three years and they are doing perfect justice to the roles. Rohit Roy felt like the weak link to me in the previous two seasons however he has surprised me pleasantly in this season.
There are also two new female characters that we see in this season. Anjum Sheikh plays a small cameo in which she makes a bold statement. Then there is Aditi Vasudev, who has a lot of layers to her character in this season and in the first 10 episodes, she makes a strong mark.
Strong performances and great writing are what makes Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai a good watch.
