Alt Balaji's series Broken But Beautiful had managed to touch a lot of souls. The first season was a smashing hit and it was followed by another good one. However, the producer of the show, Ekta Kapoor had announced that for the third season they will have a brand new cast and ever since then there have been speculations on who will grab this year.
It has now revealed that Sidharth Shukla will be the male main lead in this much anticipated web-series Broken But Beautiful Season 3. Sidharth took to his Instagram to confirm the news and introduce his character Agastya.
There were murmurs around the Bigg Boss 13 being cast in this role for a while. Along with him, there was a discussion that his co-contestant and friend Shehnaaz Gill may be seen in the show. The fans wanting to see more of their favourite jodi of SidNaaz have been wanting this to happen. However, it is now been revealed that a newcomer Sonia Rathee has been cast in the role of a female lead.
The announcement was made by none other than Ekta Kapoor on her social media handle.
Shukla was excited about this project and talking about the same, he said, “I am thrilled to announce my association with season three of Broken But Beautiful". He further mentioned that the show has got a lot of appreciation and love and has managed to carve a niche amongst the hearts and minds of the audience. He also expressed his excitement at the prospect of collaborating with Ekta Kapoor.
