Shemaroo is known for quality content for many years now, and after launching a Marathi Movie channel, Shemaroo MarathiBana, the platform is all set to launch a new chat show in Gujarati. To stream on their digital platform, ShemarooMe, the chat show titled 'The Mr. D show' will be hosted by acclaimed Gujarati director, Dhwani Gautam.
The launch event of the same was held recently in Mumbai and present at the event were popular names like Manasi Parekh Gohil and Ojas Rawal.
The guestlist on the show includes renowned names from Gujarati entertainment industry like Freddy Daruwala, Bhoomi Trivedi, Parthiv Gohil, Manan Desai, Malhar Thakkar and many others.
Talking about the show, Hiren Gada, CEO, Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd. said, "This is an interesting and highly entertaining chat show. Dhwani is a known name in the industry and has multiple facets. He has not added his charm but also brought together many names from the industry. Our platform ShemarooMe has been well appreciated by the audience globally and this show will add a new flavour to the bouquet. We are sure this will be loved by the audience as well."
Sharing more thought about his show, Dhwani Gautam added, "Gujarati industry has grown over the last five years and we thought we need to bring forward their lives to the audience too. My friends have supported a lot and have opened up during their respective shows. Mr D Show has more than 50 celebrity guests and shot over 8 months. The shoot was hectic and planned in a special way. I wanted the show to be different unlike the normal chat show, where we made them comfortable hoping they will speak and share personal aspects of their life. My motto of making the show is only to ensure that the audience supports us and helps the industry grow."
Producer Jigar Chouhan further mentioned, "I agree that many of us do not know about the people who work hard in the Gujarati entertainment industry. My work profile is based out of Delhi but when I watched the film, I realized it is worth making something good in this industry. I met a lot of people from the world of cinema, and the journey of being a part of this space began then."
Through 28-episodes, the audience and fans of these personalities will be able to know some unheard stories, anecdotes and experiences about their lives with a lot of humour and joy. Mr. D show with Dhwani Gautam will stream on ShemarooMe from January 26, 2020.
