After the release of the teaser and poster, Zee5 releases the much-awaited intriguing trailer of its new show 'Chargesheet: The Shuttlecock Murder' thereby giving us a glimpse of how Shiraz Malik’s (played by actor Shiv Panditt) career was cut short in his prime when he was shot dead on 28 July 1988 in Lucknow. It covers the scandal surrounding the murder of seven times National Badminton Champion which attracted worldwide attention in the most gritty manner.

Starring Arunoday Singh, Tridha Choudhury, Shiv Panditt, Hrishita Bhatt, Ashwini Kalsekar, Kishori Shahane, Shakti Anand and Sikandar Kher, the show is inspired by true events and unravels the story of a promising badminton player who was shot dead in broad daylight.

The series will be split in eight episodes, and will showcase one the most prolific court cases which caught the imagination of many not just because of the audacity of the crime but also because of what ensued. The unnerving case was being investigated by the CBI directly.

Produced by Roshan Kanal and Ashoke Pandit of Daytee Pictures Pvt. Ltd, written by Priyanka Ghatak and directed by Shashant Shah, the much-awaited, Chargesheet: The Shuttlecock Murder will stream on December 10, 2019.
