The new academic year began in schools last week but for 9th-grade kids, school is yet to begin. Confused? Well, 9th-grade books are not available to students yet.
This year, 7th and 9th-grade syllabus has undergone change and that’s why the books were to be reprinted.
The books were to be available early in June but after 19 days of the month already past us, the books are nowhere to be seen. Students, teachers and parents are left confused with the unavailability of books.
“If the syllabus has changed, we thought the books would be available before school starts. Now we don’t know when the books will come and when the course will start”, said Sumedh Joshi, a troubled parent.
Only the Algebra textbook is available as of now.
