The Maharashtra School Education Department has announced that the Class 11 (FYJC) admission process for 2026–27 will begin on April 10 at 10 am through the state’s centralised online admission system.

Students can start by filling out Part 1 of the application form, which includes basic personal details. However, Part 2 of the form where students select colleges and preferences will only open after the declaration of SSC (Class 10) results in June.

Officials said the early start of Part 1 is aimed at streamlining the admission process and avoiding delays experienced in previous years. The system continues under the state’s centralised online admission framework, which ensures merit-based admissions across junior colleges.

All students who have appeared for Class 10 exams from various boards, including State Board, CBSE, ICSE, and others, will be eligible to apply once the portal opens.

Authorities have urged students and parents to complete registration on time as per the schedule to ensure a smooth admission process.
