After much waiting, the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 exams has been released by Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal. As per the schedule, the test for admissions in premier IITs, NITs will be conducted from February 23 to 26.

Interested candidates can download the application from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The education minister added that entrance tests for the engineering branch students will be conducted in multiple shifts next year in February, March, April and May.

Previously, Pokhriyal had said that the examinations will be held in multiple regional languages in 2021. JEE-Main was postponed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic that halted the entirety of the nation.

The union education ministry had said in November that they will release a detailed schedule next month i.e. in December. 

The JEE-Main is a national-level competitive test that students need to clear in order to gain admission for a wide variety of courses pertaining to engineering and architecture. This also includes the eligibility for JEE-Advanced which is required to gain admission into IITs. These tests are usually conducted in January and April.
