The admission process for Class XI in Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Amravati, Nagpur Municipal Corporation areas will start from tomorrow and students will be able to fill the Part 1 of the application form which contains personal information from Friday, May 24. Students have to select their city and complete the 11th admission process from the website https://11thadmission.org.in.


How to fill the 11th admission application form? What must be mentioned in this application? And what will the process be like overall? In order to enable students to practise in this regard, the facility of filling 'dummy application' has been made available on the website on May 22 and 23. Then from 11:00 am on Friday, May 24 till the declaration of State Board Class 10th Result Part 1 of the application containing personal information can be filled through the website https://11thadmission.org.in. Part 2 of the college preference application form can be filled in the next five days from the declaration of class 10th result. Part 2 of the application form can be filled before each round.


This year there will be three regular central entrance rounds, two special central entrance rounds for students. Candidates who have passed the second special central admission round (ATKT) will be eligible to participate. Even after that if some students do not get admission. However, there will be special and daily quality rounds. This year there will be no first come first serve (FCFS) round. Along with each regular round, the admission process of various quotas will continue in parallel. Also, after the completion of the admission process of the first special round, the classes in the junior colleges of class XI will start, the Directorate of Education explained.

Steps to fill online application form for students:

1) Students register online and set their login id and password
2) Getting the application form validated by your secondary school or guidance centre after filling up part 1 of the application form containing personal information
3) Online selection of preferred junior colleges for admission before the admission round by filling up part 2 of the college preference application form



Admission Process Procedure:

1) Students can get admission in two ways either by getting cap seats in the college through central admission round or by contacting the respective college on reserved seats under quota.

2) In order to get admission, students must fill and verify the online application form part 1 containing personal information. Thereafter, before each round conducted for the seats under the Central Admission Round (Cap Seats), students can choose a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 colleges by filling the Part 2 of the application form with the order of college preference.

3) According to the order of preference given by the students, they will be given the college (allotment) under the admission round and accordingly the students have to contact the concerned college first and fix their admission within the allotted time.

4) The facility to apply online for the seat in the respective college for admission under quota will be provided in the login of the students. There will be a preference limit in admissions under quota.


How long will it be for the admission round?

The process under the first regular central admission round from giving the college to the students till admission confirmation will continue for 10 to 15 days after the state board results. The second and third regular central admission rounds, as well as the first special central admission round process will continue for 7 to 8 days. The second special central admission round process will continue for one week.
