Crawford Market - Government Resolution had been sent to the Governor C Vidyasagar Rao for his approval for the JJ College to get an autonomous institution status.
Earlier this GR had been approved by the State Education Department, now it’s in the final stage. After the document gets a green signal from the Governor, the institute will have the autonomous status.
The 25 pages GR took the three months to get approval from the state government. The procedure to get the autonomous status for Sir JJ College is underway from last year. The GR was sent to the Governor on November 8 for his approval, and it got the approval on February 8. Once the college gets autonomous status students will get to study different syllabus.
