Mumbai – MLC Kapil Patil, in a letter written to state education minister Vinod Tawde, has demanded that the time table for the forthcoming Std X board examination be changed. He has sought a break of at least a day between examinations, as was the norm till now. In his letter, Kapil Patil who represents the Mumbai Teachers’ Constituency, said that papers of four important subjects like Science, History, Geography and IT have been scheduled on consequent days between March 20 and 23. For the past five years, SSC students were being given a day’s break in between two exam papers so as to grant more time to students to prepare and thus reduce their stress. He has questioned the logic behind changing this practice this year.
