Considering the current economic situation, India needs to become self-sufficient. Our Honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi has also emphasized on the importance of a self-reliant economy. Keeping this in mind, the BMS Department of K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, Mumbai organized a Panel Discussion as a pre-event of the Presentation Club.

For this Panel Discussion, three experts from different fields were invited as panellists. Due to the Covid19 pandemic situation, the event was digitally hosted on Zoom and Live Streamed on YouTube. The theme of the 'Presentation Club 2020' was "Vocal for Local" and the topic for discussion was "Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Fostering the Growth of Indian Start-Ups and MSMEs for a self-reliant economy". Panellists Prof. Krishnan R., Dr Rita Ragnekar and Shri. Pankaj Athawale spoke clearly about the impact of self-reliant India on various sectors of the economy.

The panellists also answered questions for all audiences. Topics like the Public and Private sector, Automotive sector and New Education System were discussed and ideas were exchanged. The Panel Discussion was very informative and the audience got a good idea about the current Indian Economy.

"The Blurb Show" is another event that took place on the next day of the Panel Discussion. The participants were assigned a random product on the spot from the pre-revealed list of products. Out of 24 participants, 10 best performers were selected for a quiz round, which consisted of 3 rounds leading to a tie-breaker round, announcing Rizane Gonsalves as the clear winner and Siddhi Chavan as the 1st Runner-Up, both from K.E.S. Shroff College. The winner and the runner-up will have an advantage in the main event, i.e. Corporate Meraki. The event was judged by Rohit Kashyap, founder and CEO of Maytree School and Sunil Deora founder of N SQUARE, who gave an unbiased judgement and motivated the participants.

The Panel Discussion and The Blurb Show was a great success on the online platform, and even in such a difficult situation, the management students of K.P.B. Hinduja College proved their efficiency by successfully concluding the program.
