Maharashtra CET Cell Begins Registrations for MBA and MMS Courses

Maharashtra CET Cell Begins Registrations for MBA and MMS Courses
SHARES

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has announced the opening of the registration process for entrance tests of MBA/MMS courses. The announcement was made on Tuesday, June 22, while registration details for other courses like Law, B.Ed, etc will be published soon.

The registration process for MBA/MMS CET will be open until July 17. Meanwhile, the process will remain open for MHT-CET until mid-July with a late fee.

Despite the registration window now opening for MBA/MMS courses, the exam dates are yet to be announced. This is due to the fact that at least 10 districts in the state are under Level 3 restrictions due to the coronavirus. Students are understandably concerned about the uncertainty surrounding the exam dates.

Meanwhile, NEET aspirants are still waiting for the National Testing Agency (NTA) to begin the registration process.

“Finalising the dates at this point will be challenging as at least 10 districts are yet to fully recover from the second wave. JEE (Main) and NEET dates are yet to be announced and we will have to consider those dates to avoid clashes,” an official from the CET cell said.

The official added the pre-test processes will be ready so that dates can be scheduled as soon as the pandemic subsides in Maharashtra. As for MHT-CET, the official said that since it is also taken by students from outside Maharashtra, it is important to consider the health situation in other states.
