The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially announced the examination dates for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) Group on Sunday, October 4. Officials announced that MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) will be conducted in multiple sessions for students in the PCM group on October 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, and 20. The students are now eligible to download their admit cards as well.
However, students complained that there’s still some confusion with regard to the examinations. “Schedules for all exams have been revised keeping in mind the university exams. It is becoming difficult to keep track of all the changes,” a CET aspirant said.
To put these doubts to rest, Commissioner of the CET Cell, Pankaj Kumar said: “The notice issued on Sunday merely announces the dates for PCM exams while referring to an earlier notice of the CET cell about revising exam dates.”

Official records published by the CET Cell show that over 5.32 lakh students are currently registered to appear for CET this year. By comparison, 2019 had around 4.13 lakh students registering for the examination.
The Supreme Court has previously refused to cancel MHT-CET for students after the state’s Higher Education and Technical Education Minister, Uday Samant pitched the possibility of conducting the examinations online.
