Maharashtra Board to teach usage of e-mail in SSC curriculum

The state education department has covered other trending topics such as GST, Share Market, Mutual Funds and Organ Donation in their curriculum

There were times when people wrote letters and sent them by post but as technology changed and evolved, people started communicating through e-mails. Even after these changes, many people are still unaware of its usage. Hence, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education decided to impart the education on e-mails through the curriculum.

Now, Class X students of the state education department will be taught the usage of e-mail. The board has also planned to include 'e-mail' as syllabus in Class X textbooks. Along with writing papers, students will also be taught to write e-mails and its advantages from the coming academic year. The books with new subjects have hit the market as well.

The state education department has taken this decision after discussing with teachers in the state.
