There were times when people wrote letters and sent them by post but as technology changed and evolved, people started communicating through e-mails. Even after these changes, many people are still unaware of its usage. Hence, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education decided to impart the education on e-mails through the curriculum.

Now, Class X students of the state education department will be taught the usage of e-mail. The board has also planned to include 'e-mail' as syllabus in Class X textbooks. Along with writing papers, students will also be taught to write e-mails and its advantages from the coming academic year. The books with new subjects have hit the market as well.
