The Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) education department has taken a proactive step to ensure the success of its Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) students. A series of sessions have been arranged to guide students on their examinations, which are scheduled to begin on February 1.
The sessions cover a wide range of topics, from subject-wise preparation and scoring methods to paper presentation. They also provide guidance on the use of unique identification (UID) codes and the process of affixing barcodes and holocraft stickers or barcodes.
The introduction of stickers is a move towards impartial assessment. These stickers are designed to prevent the disclosure of the student's identity. This gets rid of any bias in the evaluation process.
This initiative will benefit the first group of 190 students from four municipal schools. These students have had the advantage of experiencing MBMC's upgraded facilities for classes 8 through 10.
According to reports, each student would receive customised assistance, in addition to general workshops and mock exams. The session is divided into three stages, with each stage designed to provide comprehensive support to the students.
The education department will assign qualified teachers and moderators to oversee the students. This will make sure they receive the best possible guidance.
