The joint pre-examination of MPSC will be held on September 4. Candidates coming to Mumbai are likely to face difficulties in reaching the examination centre, therefore, they were being asked to allow local train travel. This dispatch has been given only for the purpose of examination.

BJP MLA Ashish Shelar had taken up the matter with Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve. Shelar’s pursuit has been a success, with students being allowed to travel by the local trains for the MPSC exam on Saturday, September 4.

On this, Ashish Shelar elaborated on how some students spoke to him about their woes. Accordingly, he made the demand over the phone to the Minister of State for Railways, Raosaheb Danve. The Minister took a positive stance that train tickets can be issued looking at hall tickets. However, for such a proposal, approval of the state government is necessary, he said. Therefore, the matter was immediately brought to the notice of the Chief Secretary of the State, Sitaram Kunte, who also showed immediate positivity.

The Maharashtra Secondary Service “Non-Gazetted Group B” join pre-examination was postponed on the backdrop of coronavirus. Initially set to be held on 11th April 2021, the state government later postponed it to 4th September 2021.
