The deadline for admission under the academic year 2023-24 for postgraduate courses in the academic departments, recognized institutions and affiliated colleges (excluding autonomous) of the University of Mumbai was till August 13. Now the deadline has been extended by the university and students can fill the admission form on the website http://muadmission.samarth.edu.in till Thursday, August 31, 2023.
This is the last chance for the students to get admission for the post-graduate course and no further extension will be given, said Dr. Prasad Karande. A video link has been provided on the website to understand the process from admission registration to application submission.

For the first time, the admission process of postgraduate courses is being implemented through the 'e-Samarth' system through the University of Mumbai. Under the academic year 2023-24, the admission process is underway for the courses of 'Science and Technology', 'Humanities', 'Interdisciplinary' and 'Commerce' faculties at the postgraduate level through the 'e-Samarth' system.
