Despite digitalisation of the admission process, the students still have to visit the campus in person, which makes the initiative of digitalisation useless. During the process, several students who applied online were unable to get the Permanent Registration Number (PRN) whereas some students paid the money but did not get the money slip of the payment.

Mumbai University authorities when contacted, stated that four divisions have been set up for resolving the IDOL admission issues. Therefore, they said that the students should approach the divisions with their doubts and issues.
