Students enrolled in the MA Marathi programme through Mumbai University’s Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) are facing delays in receiving their Semester 1 exam results, leading to growing concern.
The Semester 1 examinations concluded on 18 February 2026, but even after more than 60 days, the results have not yet been declared. According to university norms, results are usually expected within 45 days.
Meanwhile, Semester 2 exams are scheduled to begin on 5 May 2026, leaving students anxious as they will have to appear for the next semester without knowing their previous results.
Many students, including working professionals, say the delay is causing stress and confusion about their academic progress. They also report that repeated follow-ups with the university have not provided clear answers.
University officials, however, have stated that the evaluation process is in its final stage and the results are expected to be released within a few days.
The delay has once again raised concerns about the timely declaration of results at the university, especially for distance learning students who depend on structured schedules to manage studies alongside work.
