Mumbai University misses second deadline
SHARES

The Mumbai University is likely to miss its second deadline to announce the results of exams which was held in the last academic year. By 31 July, MU managed to release 160 results by July 31- the deadline set by governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao. When MU couldn’t meet the deadline, they asked for the extension and they got time until 5 August. However, by 4 August, MU declared only 260 results out of 477.

Various students’ organisations met Vice Chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh and asked about the deadline. To which he replied that the results will be declared on 15 August. As per our trusted source, MU’s chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh is likely to get ousted after 15 August and this will be done by Maharashtra’s governor.

For now, the chancellor got away with the deadline but the question still remains the same. Will MU be able to assess more than 2.44 lakh answer booklets by 15 August?
