The examinations of NEET PG are for doctors seeking admission in MS, MD courses. The examination was earlier scheduled to be held in January but was postponed because of the pandemic.
According to reports, a group of doctors had earlier moved the Supreme Court urging for the postponement of the examination, before the Centre announced its decision. The doctors further stated that the candidates who would be appearing in the examinations have been treating patients suffering from the coronavirus.
On the other hand, with the second wave of coronavirus striking India, many students and aspirants have been demanding the postponement of examinations. Similarly, aspirants have been demanding the postponement of the JEE Main examinations 2021.
According to reports, JEE Main 2021 for the April session is scheduled to be conducted from April 27 to 30 in online mode. Moreover, 2021 JEE Main is being held in 4 sessions which are from February 23 to 26 (Session 1), March 15 to 18 (session 2), April 27 to 30 (Session 3), and May 24 to 28 (Session 4). This will be the third session of the JEE Exam in 2021. However, even with the rise in cases of coronavirus, the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam is yet to give any indication of the postponement of the examinations.
