No stationery for civic school students

Antop Hill - All are not equal in the eyes of the BMC? On the one hand, the corporation is distributing tablets to the students, while on the other, there are more than 250 municipal school students who face a shortage of pens, pencils, notebooks and uniforms. 27 items comprise this list of unavailable items. The scheme to provide the basic stationery and other useful items to the students was launched in 2006, but the implementation of the scheme cannot yet be called a success. Observers say that the school kids have been celebrating Independence day in their old uniforms for three consecutive years. BMC F/North Education Officer has responded saying,"Students will be provided adequate facilities at the earliest." We are waiting.
