Pratiksha Nagar- Republic Day honors the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.
Mumbaikars are getting ready for the 67th Republic Day celebrations. Flags, T-shirts, batch, can already be seen in the market.
Preparations for the Republic Day were started by school students in Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil School in Pratiksha Nagar, month before. Everyday the students after their school practice ‘drums’ and ‘lazims’ in ground which will be part of the Republic Day function.
