In recent developments, Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has informed that the results for the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBHSE) are likely to be declared this week.

Earlier the board examinations this year were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, keeping the safety of students in mind. Meanwhile, SSC result 2021 will be calculated on the basis of the marks obtained by the student in Class 9 exams and internal assessments of Class 10.

Moreover, the results announced by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be final. According to reports, "Revaluation and photocopies of answer sheets were possible when exams were conducted and marks were tabulated by the board," MSBSHSE secretary Ashok Bhosale informed while speaking to the media.

On the other hand, in the past, the Maharashtra State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had informed about the evaluation criterion for the Maharashtra SSC examinations According to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the students who were to appear for the board examinations, will be marked based on performance in internal assessments as the board exams were cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the subsequent rise in cases.
