
After the fourth round of admissions for Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani undergraduate courses under the AYUSH curriculum, 965 seats remain vacant. The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has begun a college-wise open round to fill these seats, with the selection list scheduled for December 4. Students selected in this round must take admission in person between December 5 and 7. A second open round will follow immediately, and the entire process will conclude by December 10, with no further extensions.
In Ayurveda (BAMS), 9,453 seats were available across 145 government and private colleges. After four rounds, 568 seats remain vacant 64 in government and 504 in private institutions. For Homeopathy (BHMS), 3,712 seats were available in 55 colleges (1 government, 54 private). Of these, 43 out of 54 government seats are filled, while 3,397 private seats are occupied, leaving 390 seats vacant. In the Unani (BUMS) stream, 350 seats were available in seven colleges. A total of 343 seats have been filled, leaving 7 vacant.
Registration for the open round began on Tuesday and will continue until December 3. The first selection list will be declared on December 4, and selected students must confirm admission by December 7. The second selection list will be released on December 8, with admissions to be completed on December 9 and 10. The CET Cell has confirmed that no deadlines will be extended beyond December 10.
