Even after four months of examinations for various courses in the colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the distance and open learning institute i.e. 'Idol', the students have to wait for the results. Errors have been found in the declared results of some faculties and students are facing numerous problems.
Degree and Postgraduate Arts branch, Commerce branch examinations of various departments of Kalina Complex and Affiliated Colleges of Mumbai University were held between December 2022 and January 2023. But even after the lapse of four months, the result has not been announced. Therefore, students are facing difficulties in getting higher education and jobs.
Sudhakar Tamboli, the former member of the Executive Council of Mumbai University, has requested the University through a letter to 'release the pending results of various courses as soon as possible and give relief to the students'.
The evaluation of the regular M.Com and LLM examinations in the University of Mumbai has been completed and the process of announcing the results is underway. The evaluation work of MA and M.Sc exams has reached the final stage and the result of these exams will be announced soon. BA, B.Com, MA and M.Com exams in Idol are conducted annually. The examination and evaluation board of Mumbai University has clarified that the work of evaluation of the said exams has also reached the final stage and the result will be announced soon.
