There is good news for the students for the FYJC students who have not been able to participate in the Eleventh Admission Process due to some unavoidable reasons. The First Come First Service (FCFS) has been given a second extension in the online admission process till February 16, the director of education said.

The students will be able to apply for the admission from 10 am on Tuesday, February 16, while the allotted students will be able to confirm their admission till 6 pm. Director of Education Dattatraya Jagtap has clarified that this is the last chance for the students entering the 11th standard.

According to the Directorate of Education, there are more than 180,000 vacancies in the 11th online admission process in six departments in the state. Therefore, it has been decided to extend this additional FCFS round so that no student is deprived of admission as the number of vacancies has decreased this year as compared to last year.

Around 82,239 seats are available for 11th admission from Mumbai division. In the second round of FCFS, 4,938 seats were allotted, out of which 4,535 seats have been entered.

However, the admission process, which ends in October every year, has not ended even though it started in February this year. Therefore, the question arises as to how the remaining students will complete their education for FYJC course by finishing the admission procedure.
