The government de-recognized the Namdar Ajit Pawar College in Borivali for cheating parents and students and not abiding by the rules of the centralised admission process. College gave Illegal admissions to over 600 students. Over 544 students were admitted in science stream and 86 were admitted in commerce offline. There were only 120 sanctioned seats per stream.
The college will have to shut down and the department will shift its students to other schools with vacant seats. 485 students left in the lurch, the big question is whether their study will continue smoothly or not? The police have registered a case of cheating against Principal.
