Orchids The International School, one of the leading school chains in India conducted a week-long celebration this year for Teacher’s Day. 30000+ students across 41 branches participated in the festivities.

Orchids recently decided to resume physical classes in a phased manner in some of their branches following the guidelines provided by the authority and taking all necessary precautions to provide a safe environment for its students. The excitement could also be seen among the students as they resume their classes and interact with their peers and teachers face-to-face. This added extra fuel to their enthusiasm this year and students prepared DIY projects/gifts, poems, letters, cards, online events to express their gratitude towards their teachers.

Commenting on the occasion Dr Rajeev Singh, Head- Academic Implementation, Orchids-The International School said, “In view of the Covid-19 scenario, the theme of this year was “Recover and Revitalize Education” and the zeal and enthusiasm noticed amongst our students to celebrate the occasion was phenomenal. We received overwhelming participation from all the branches and it really provided the much-needed boost to our teachers who have been working tirelessly and going beyond their call of duty to ensure every child gets ample attention and support”. Such occasional activities help to instil an optimistic attitude and bring positivity around the students and teacher community” he concluded.
