On the International Women’s Day, female students of SNDT college distributed roses to the principal who pressed on formal dress code.
On 6th December 2016, SNDT Women’s University issued a circular regarding women’s dressing. This did not go well with the female students who protested against the circular. Fowling the rage, the meeting was conducted where University officials stated that they will give their reply in written. However, no letter has been issued till date by the SNDT Women’s University.
“If SNDT Women’s University does not roll back the circular then we will award the chancellor with talibani award for this diktat,” said Morvika Nanore, spokesperson, Vidyarthi Bharat Sanghatna.
