Nariman Point- The Mumbai University's women’s hostel will be ready by the end of December. State minister for higher and technical education Ravindra Waikar gave instructions to speed up the work on Wednesday during his visit to the site. This hostel will be able to house 150 students. “Once the electricity supply starts, students will be able to stay here within next two months”, said varsity’s registrar Dr Ahmed Khan. During this visit, varsity chancellor Dr Sanjay Deshmukh, registrar Dr Ahmed Khan, Yuva Sena’s Pradip Sawant, Mahadev Jagtap and Rajan Kolambkar were present.
