On the occasion of International Yoga Day, major politicians and civilians celebrated various events across the country. University of Mumbai also organised an event to celebrate Yoga Day for the students.

In the programme, along with students, Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar followed by the University’s Vice-Chancellor Suhas Pednekar, Registrar Dr Dinesh Kamble, and Kevalaydham CEO Subodh Tiwari were present.

With the help of Mumbai University’s National Service Scheme, a three-day Yoga camp was organised in each college affiliated to the university starting from June 15 to June 21.

MU was able to organise 300 Yoga camps and the inauguration for the same was done by Vice-Chancellor at RD National College in Bandra.
