Pune - The BJP and chief minister Devendra Fadnavis faced an embarrassing situation when they had to cancel a scheduled election rally at Sadashiv Peth in Pune on Saturday as only a few people gathered for the rally. CM Fadnavis tweeted, “I have cancelled my public meeting at Pune due to miscommunication of time of rally. I regret for the same. Heading towards Pimpri Chinchwad.” The failure of BJP’s rally invoked taunts on the social media. Puneites are known for taking the afternoon nap during 1 pm to 4 pm and still the BJP and the CM planned their meeting at this awkward time left them for criticism.
