The competition between fiction shows and reality shows to win a place at the top of the TRP chart is getting tougher each week. As per the last week’s BARC report reality shows like Khatro Ke Khiladi 8 and Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 pushed the popular Zee Tv show Kumkum Bhagya on the third place. This week too Sony Entertainment Television’s game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 is ranking at number one.
It’s really interesting to see, viewers willingly choosing non-fictional shows over fictional dramas, but not in the case of Abhi-Pragya’s intense love story Kumkum Bhagya as it has managed to get the second position in this week’s TRP chart. At the third position again there is Colors stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 followed by Zee Tv’s singing reality Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in the fourth place with SAB TV’s comedy-drama Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma on the fifth place.
Big B’s Kaun Banega Crorepati will now also be available on Sony TV’s digital platform Sony LIV.The audience can watch it on linear feed on subscription on Sony LIV, this season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will be the first quiz show to be streamed online with the highest number of sponsors.
