Case Against Kangana Ranaut And Her Sister For Allegedly Spreading Religious Disharmony

In the past few days, Kangana Ranaut has been making some strong accusations on her social media. From comparing Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir to claiming to claiming that there was a Hindu  genocide. The actress has been using her social media to talk all this and more.

On Saturday, October 17, Mumbai court has ordered the city police to investigate a complaint against Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for spreading communal hatred and falsehood. 

This probe has been ordered by the court hearing the plea by Munawwarali alias Sahil A Sayyed, a Bollywood casting director, said his lawyer Ravish F Zamindar. Sayyed had earlier approached the Bandra Police station to lodge a complaint. When he was unable to get a positive response, he moved the court. 

Among other things, Sayyed accused Kangana and Rangoli of defaming Bollywood, portraying people associated with the industry in a bad light with claims of drug addiction, communal bias, nepotism. He also alleged that she is attempting to create a rift between artistes of different communities, insulting religions, calling them murderers etc on social media and through public statements.

The petitioners had presented her tweets and videos as proof. The court has directed the police to probe the matter under Section 156 (3) of the CrPC and take necessary action.

In response to the same, Kangana Ranaut has posted another message on social media in which she is taking a dig at the Shiv Sena. She has mentioned, "Meanwhile another FIR filed against me, Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don’t miss me so much I will be there soon".
