Anupam Kher requests people to take social distancing seriously

Veteran actor Anupam Kher’s family members tested positive for coronavirus on July 12, 2020, and the actor shared this news via a video on twitter. His mother, Dulari had lost her apatite and on the suggestion of doctors, they decided to get her tested and with a CT scan they came to know that the results were positive with mild symptoms.

Other members of the family including his brother Raju, his wife and daughter were also tested positive for coronavirus.

This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found Covid + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. He also thanked the medical staff for the amazing work that they have been doing and also thanked the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for the work that they have been doing and helping the family. Besides this, Anupam's nephew tested negative, however, as precautionary measures, he along with his family are under home quarantine. 

Earlier their mother Dulari was admitted in Kokilaben Hospital. Anupam Kher had posted another video on twitter thanking his fans for their prayers and messages; and also informed that his mother has been shifted to the isolation ward. Further, he wrote, “social distancing and stay safe are not just expressions but a reality and it is important that we take them seriously.”

He also requested people to stay home and not venture out if it is not important and urgent.
