As we all know, Bannet Dosanjh is the winner of Colors’ live singing reality show Rising star Season one. After winning the trophy Bannet is now all set to enter the Bhatt camp by making his debut as a playback singer with Vishesh Film’s next.
Mahesh Bhatt is known to launch the finest singers of B-town like Arijit Singh and Atif Aslam.
Bannet won the show on April 23 2017,along with the trophy he got Rs.20 lakh as cash prize and bagged a contract with Mahesh Bhatt’s Vishesh Films. "Rising Star has taken my passion for singing to another level; it has given me the platform to share it with the world! I am indebted to the viewers whose constant support and votes have encouraged me to be a better performer," Bannet said
Delhi's Maithili Thakur and Bengaluru's Ankita Kundu was the first and second runner-up respectively. Bollywood star Anil Kapoor came as the special guest for the finale episode. Renowned singers Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh and Monali Thakur were the judges of Colors’ Rising Star
