I feel honoured to be UN Environment’s Goodwill Ambassador for India: Dia Mirza

The former Miss Asia Pacific has always raised a voice for change and has contributed a lot to bring a change in the environment. She has been to the face of many environmental campaigns across India and has also worked towards the conservation of wildlife.

Dia Mirza who is appointed as the UN Environment’s Goodwill Ambassador for India is all geared to take up a new role in raising awareness and finding solutions to the environmental issues that the world and India.

"I feel honored and inspired by this opportunity to work with UN Environment to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. Environmental issues will be the defining challenge of this era, and I am committed to helping the UN as a Goodwill Ambassador to do everything I can to provide a better future,” said Diya in a statement.

As a UN Environment’s Goodwill Ambassador, Dia Mirza will work with the United Nations on the environmental topics like clean air, clean seas, wildlife protection and climate change.
