Exclusive: DID 6 to start after SaReGaMaPa; Marzi, Minnie, Mudassar may judge with Mithun Da

Zee TV’s popular dance reality show Dance India Dance is back again with its 6th edition. The show which gave many dancers from the country a career shift, will soon be seen on the channel, after the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is over.

The last season of the show was in 2015 and dancers from different parts of the nation will be seen grooving again, after 2 years. As per credible sources, Master Marzi Pestonji may be seen as a judge once again on the show. He was earlier seen as a judge in DID L'il Masters 2 and Dance Ke Superkids.

Talking about the same, Marzi mentioned that he has been approached for the show, and the talks are on, and nothing has been confirmed yet.

Along with Marzi Pestonji, 2 other renowned masters will also be the judges on the show. One of them is Master Minnie and the other could be Master Mudassar, but he is not yet confirmed. Along with these judges, the show will also have it's own very beloved super judge 'Mithun da.' Keeping the names of all the judges in mind, the makers are planning to have something related to the 4Ms.

Master Minnie is a trained bharatnatyam and mohiniyattam dancer, who has excelled with arangetram.

She started her career in 1996, with popular choreographer Longinus Fernandes, and then continued with other famous Bollywood choreographers such as Geeta Kapoor, Vaibhavi Merchant, Remo. She was earlier seen as a choreographer in Nach Baliye. Minnie also assisted Farah Khan for Om Shanti Om’s song Dhoom Tana starring Deepika Padukone.

DID has always been considered as an popular platform for the ones who are passionate about dancing and has given the nation many extraordinary dancers such as Shakti Mohan, Salman Yusuf Khan, Kunwar Amar, Raghav Juyal and more.

The auditions for the show are in process and will be conducted across the country. The dates for the same, will be announced soon.
