The world is moving the digital way and so do our television content, OTT platforms are the new era of showbiz. Beholding the viewership of the digital space the makers of this cosmos are now coming with reality content along with fictional stories. Amazon Prime Video’s latest offering The Remix is one such instance. The Remix is set-up as per the international show layout, where various singers and music producers can create their own remixed song track. The web show will be judged by the well-known singer Sunidhi Chauhan, ace music composer Amit Trivedi and Indian music sensational DJ Nucleya.

In an interview with Mumbai Live Karan Tacker, host of The Remix spoke about the concept of the show and also shared his love for music…

Talking about the show Karan averred, It’s a music reality show first of its kind and there are a lot of cool things happening. There is no drama at all like other reality shows, no rona-dhona, it’s like a pure talent. The concert will be hosted by me so will have a blast doing it watch it.”

When asked about the deviation of content from television to digital platform the actor mentioned, “I don’t know if television is shifting to the digital space and I really can’t comment on other actors but it’s not a conscious effort of mine to shift to digital. This show was offered to me by Amazon and it sounded very cool concept wise, so I wanted to be a part of it. Definitely digital is the future and we are a fastest growing mobile network market in the world, eventually, all the content is going to shift as we have more viewership there.”

As quoted by Marilyn Manson “Music is the strongest form of magic”, Karan also shares a special bond with Music, “I love music! Music is such a huge part of my life. The first thing I do in the morning is that I put on a certain tune that I listen that wakes me up and that really goes with my mood. I have the different playlist for different moods and activities. Generally, I enjoy listening to Punjabi songs”, said Karan.
