Sony TV's Super Dancer chapter 2 recently saw its grand finale where Assam resident Bishal Sharma was announced as the winner by the judges Shilpa Shetty, Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapur. Bishal defeated other three finalists Ritik Diwaker, Vaishnavi Prajapati, and Akash Thapa and won the trophy by receiving more than 1 crore votes.
After winning the trophy, in an exclusive interview with Mumbai live Bishal said, “I am feeling great and more than me my supporters from my hometown are very much happy. My mummy also said that she is proud of me. Before the finale, I felt glad as I reached the finals but never thought of winning the trophy. This was like a dream come true for me.”
Bishal has received a prize money of 15 lakhs, gift hampers, and ‘Dance Ka Kal’ trophy, while Super Guru Vaibhav Ghuge received a cheque of 5 lakhs. Talking about his mentor the winner averred, “I have learned a lot from him, I will remember all my performances. When my name was announced Vaibhav sir started dancing with joy, he was thanking God, the dance floor. He was very happy; I will miss Vaibhav sir the most.”
Finally, Bishal thanked all his fans for making him win the Chapter 2 of Super Dancer with maximum votes. The finale episode was graced by the super talented actor of Bollywood Varun Dhawan, who was present on sets to promote his upcoming movie October. All four finalists performed breathtaking acts in the finale. Shilpa Shetty also flaunted her feet at some peppy Bollywood numbers whereas Geeta Kapur gave a tribute to the yesteryear heroines.
