When Rishabh Shetty commented on 'Kantara 2' during the interval, he said, “What you just saw was the second part. The prequel of this film i.e. part 1 will be released next year. This idea came to my mind while shooting Kantara, because the story has a long history. Currently we are working hard for the plot of this film. It's hard to say more about it right now."
