Remember the words of the superhuman robot ‘Command accepted’, the humanoid machine loved accepting all the commands given to her by the Creator. Ridhima Pandit aka Rajni from Life Ok’s popular dramedy Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant used to mesmerize everyone by her expressions, demeanor, and inflection. Recently, when Mumbai live got in touch with the actress for a chit-chat session, she opened about up about her life, TV show and upcoming projects.
“I’m missing the show a lot, especially the way Rajni (character) used to enact, also many fans used to come on sets to meet me. Initially, I thought some may like the character and some may not, but everybody appreciated the role, it was an experience of a lifetime for me. The role itself was so unconventional that I think I was lucky to bag a role like Rajni.” says Ridhima while talking about the journey of the show.
The chirpy girl will soon be seen in a Marathi movie with the popular star Ankush Chaudhari which is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Ridhima is playing the role of a village girl; majority part of the movie is shot in Kokan. When asked about the film Ridhima mentioned, “It’s a slice of life film as per my director Aditya Sarpotdar, one trend that I have noticed about Marathi cinema and which is worth learning is that ‘Content is King’, here there is more focus on the story and not on the actor; if the actor fits into the storyline only then he or she is approached”. In near future, the actress would esteem to see this kind of change even in Hindi television and films.
