Veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty is currently in hospital. He is undergoing treatment after suffering a brain stroke, thus the information about his condition has come to light. Mithun Chakraborty's condition has improved and he is quite stable, an official informed on Sunday.
73-year-old Mithun Chakraborty complained of chest pain, after which he was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata on Saturday. “He is recovering, and is fully conscious and his condition is good now. He has also taken a diet. He will be examined before being discharged,” said the medical officer.
Mithun Chakraborty has already undergone many other medical tests and MRI at the hospital. Meanwhile, Mithun Chakraborty, recently awarded the country's third highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan, has acted in around 350 films in Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Bhojpuri and Tamil languages.
