11-year old Sunny Pawar won Best Child Actor for 'Chippa' in the 19th edition of New York Indian Film Festival 2019. It was premiered at MAMI 2018, Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and Mipcom. Chippa was written and directed by Safdar Rahman, and is a 90-minute film portraying a journey of a child who lives in the streets of Kolkata and starts on an expedition to search for his father on a wintry night.

Sunny Pawar is best known for his role in 'Lion' as a young Saroo Brierley. He was also seen in Netflix original 'Sacred Games' and is all set to take up his next project in a Marathi film अ ब क (ABC) where he'll be playing the role of 'Hari'. 

Chippa pays homage to the spirit of growing children and their perception about the world.
