Actress Poorva Gohakle who will be seen as Anupriya Deshmukh in Zee Tv’s upcoming show ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ says that youngsters today are a part of different kinds of relationships. The show is an endearingly unique, bittersweet relationship between a mother and a daughter – Anupriya and Kalyani.

Kalyani’s (Reem Shaikh) father shares an illegitimate relationship with Anupriya. Her mother dies in a mishap after learning about her husband’s truth, and the instances that occur later is what the show is all about. Revolving around this, ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ depicts a progressive storyline of accepting relationships which are not acceptable in the institution of the family. “Our generation is seeing different kinds of relationships which were not seen in the earlier days. Today we are open to such relationships and even our parents have started accepting them. Therefore, I think that if the story is narrated in an encouraging way and if the relationship is portrayed in a positive manner then the audience will surely accept it”, said Poorva in an interaction with Mumbai Live.

The actress is happy to be back on TV with a Hindi show, “A few years back I was a part shows like Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kulvadhu after which I switched to Marathi entertainment industry for some time. I have always looked out for a good opportunity project wise, which I didn’t find in Hindi from past many years. Many times it happens that, a role is not defined for me or my age. I used to get to play the role of a mother, however, there is nothing unique about the character and that ‘uniqueness’ which I was searching, I found in this character”, averred Poorva.
