Veteran actor Saira Bano and Jackie Shroff have been announced to be the winners of the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Prize and Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award respectively. At the same time, Vikram Gokhale and Arun Nalavade, the famous stars of the Marathi Film Industry have been announced the winners of the V Shantaram Special Contribution Prize and V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award respectively. Vinod Tawde, on the occasion of an event, held for discussion with regards to Education and Culture of the state.
Further, Tawde took to twitter to congratulate all the selected winners for these prizes.
These awards are awarded every year that includes giving away the prize money of 5 lakhs along with a certificate for the lifetime achievement awards whereas for Special Contribution award the prize money of 3 lakhs and a certificate is awarded. These awards are awarded for an exceptional performance in the spheres of acting, music, direction and production.
