D N Nagar- A complaint against Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera has been filed in the D N Nagar police station for beating up one of his friends. On Tuesday night, complainant Athar Umar Qureshi was driving an Audi car on Link Road when he saw Shera and stopped the car. Athar was talking to one of their common friends, Ajay, on the phone at the time and Ajay asked Athar to give the phone to Shera. When they started speaking on the phone, Shera started abusing him and disconnected the phone and gave it back to Athar. While doing so, Shera allegedly beat up Athar along with his other friends with a rod and also brandished a gun, alleged Athar.
D N Nagar police filed a complaint under sections 326,506(2), 323, 504, 34 of the IPC and sections 3, 25, 27 of the Arms Act. “Athar is grievously injured and is recuperating in the hospital. When contacted, Shera refuted the allegations. He said that he had gone to Andheri’s Pop Tate's restaurant and went back to his Seven Bungalows home. Though, he admitted that he argued with Ajay on the phone, he denied any allegations of beating him. We are further investigating the matter," said Mumbai Police spokesperson Ashok Dudhe.
