Popular B-town singer Shibani Kashyap unites with the most talented actor of Bollywood Richa Chadha for a music album titled Wanna Be Free, which targets to encourage people to free themselves from the addiction of social media. It urges people to realize the importance of personal relationships more than the world of social media
Talking about the idea of the song Shibani says, “The idea is to have a message through a song because music is a very powerful tool, so the message we want to spread is to get free from the technology and social media addiction. Honestly, I was becoming a social media addict .”
On being asked about the experience of working on Wannabe free Richa avers, “It was a lot of fun, we shot in Goa. I am wearing a bridal gown and riding a bike, that was so much fun. I am very happy to be associated with the song as it aims at creating awareness about social media addiction”.
The song is composed by Shibani Kashyap and penned down by Rashmi Virag. The single cover various occurrences where people are addicted to social media missing out on important and special moments of life. The song is released digitally under the Zee Music label.
